Palo Alto, Calif. –– October 30, 2006 –– Catalytic Inc. will present, “From MATLAB Code to Implementation –– Tricks and Tips,” during GSPx. The Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools Session begins at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 1,in Room 205 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.
The presentation will describe how to eliminate the error-prone, manual translation process typically required for development and implementation of algorithms created using MATLAB from The MathWorks as a high-level executable description. A four-step development methodology that begins with algorithms written in MATLAB and leverages compiler and synthesis technologies created by Catalytic Inc. to generate C-code will be presented. The quality of results from this process will be discussed, using benchmark examples.
