When delivered the RC10 platform is preloaded with a set of demo bit and data files in the onboard flash memory. This article contains all the files needed to restore this memory to its original state.
The zip files in the download section contains a batch file and data files that allow the demo files to be loaded into the onboard flash on the RC10.
These files are intended for use on an RC10.
1. Unzip the download to a folder on your PC.
2. Ensure the RC10 board is connected to your computer with the supplied USB cable.
3. Run the batch file "prog_rc10.bat" from the root directory of the unpacked zip file.
4. Wait - the RC10 flash will be formatted and the files loaded onto the board.
5. Once completed, press the reset button on the RC10. You should hear a chirp and the seven segment displays will flash "RC" then "10". A menu screen will be displayed via the VGA output.
6. Navigate the menu using up and down on the RC10 joystick, to select a demo push down on the joystick. This will reconfigure the FPGA and run the demo. Press reset to return to the menu screen.
